Tuesday

Today looks cloudy but it,s not raining! We are in Trois Rivieres heading to a nearby park called Forges Du Maurice to see what's there.  This was the very first industrialized community in Canada. He came from France and started working on is dream building a foundry (in 1730) where iron and pig iron will be made. After several years the King of France heard about it and decided to fund the community and eventually took charge. This foundry remained the most technologically advanced ironworks in all of North America until the 1835 and by the time it shut down in 1883 it was outdated.
Now that we have had our history lesson we are off to old Quebec City where we will spend the night walking around the old city and its harbour. If you are ever in this area Quebec City is absolutely a must see! Good night!
