Monday

Today we walk on the bottom of the ocean floor, Hopewell Rocks that's where we will start our day!  We walked along the trails of the Hopewell Rocks this morning.  The tide is still in and we will have to wait for the tide to leave before we can walk on the ocean floor.  Every six and half hours the tide will come in or go out, this gives Cooper and I three hours after the tide leaves plus three hours before the tide returns which gave us plenty of time to do this.  We came back around 6 pm after touring the general area and taking in the wonderful sights and checking out some of the trails.  When we were finished our ocean floor tour the waters had already started to rise.  It's starting to get dark anyways so it's back to the bus for a bite to eat and to reflect on the days events.
                                                                        Till tomorrow...

Sunday's Pictures

Sunday

Cooper and I are up, sun is trying to break through and it is not raining.
Today we are continuing down along the coast towards Hopewell Rocks. We probably won't make it all the way today, but it's fun trying.
Along the way we stopped at some small towns nestled in along the coast. Cooper got some pretty good pics of covered bridges and fishing boats, we even stopped for the worlds best sea food chowder.
That was at the bay in St Martin's.
After lunch it was time to walk along the shore to see the Red Rock banks carved out by the sea. Very nice feeling there.
Hey, we are off again. Off to Fundy National Park. The park is closed, but the roads and most of the trails are still open for use.
Wow, this is nice. Beautiful winding roads threw hills and valleys, lookouts over the coast and many places to park and hike.
Cooper mentions, "we should stay the night".
Wake up looking out over the water at Nova Scotia on the other side.
Hey, what else could 2 mutts ask for...
So we are......

Saturday

Weather? Still raining. Today we will make up some miles heading towards St. John's, New Brunswick.
As we enter St John's the Reversible Falls was our first stop.
The falls are quite interesting, when you read up on how the falls work.
new-Brunswick.net/St_John/reversing falls/reversing.html
Heading down town to the City Market to see what's going on there.
Due to the high winds and heavy rain, none of the outdoor vendors were there. Inside the City Market was The Museum of New Brunswick. Unfortunately we arrived with only minutes left before closing.
Needless to say,With the way the wind and rain is, it will be a sit back and wait it out night.
Till later".....M/C

Fridays Pictures

Friday

Good morning Grand Falls New Brunswick!
Today we make our way down the river to where the grand falls begin. We met a traveler there from Switzerland who had his bus shipped here over the ocean it took three weeks. He was heading across country and then down to Argentina. Good luck and happy travels Sven! We also have a new addition to our bus. Heshee our bobble body monkey! Heshee's job is to be our pot hole intensity responder. We have had to reattach Heshee a few times, roads here leave a lot to be desired. Spending most of our day driving along the coastal route we encountered many small towns each with their small contributions to our history of this land. Finally reaching St. Andrews we found a nice spot on the shores of the ocean to call it a day!
